Glastonbury: Brexit barriers adding costs to Britain's flagship festival
Responding to news that Glastonbury tickets will cost 26% more next year, Deborah Annets, Chief Executive of the Independent Society of Musicians and member of the cross-party UK Trade and Business Commission, said,
"While global economic factors are having an impact, it is undeniable that unforced economic errors by this government, and particularly Brexit, are increasing costs for the music and events industry further.
"The government must urgently remove the costly red tape they created which is not only denying musicians opportunities on the continent, but which is now making Britain's flagship festival unaffordable.
